Eligibility

Your organization is eligible to provide RPB’s retirement and insurance plans to your eligible employees if it falls into one of the following categories:

  • URJ-affiliated congregations
  • Reform Movement professional organizations
  • Some 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations such as federations and Jewish community centers

Your employees will also need to meet RPB’s eligibility requirements before enrolling in the plan.

RPB serves the congregations and institutions of the Reform Movement as a joint trust of the URJ and the CCAR. Revisions to the RPB Plan must be approved by each organization’s board in their capacity as a settlor of the trust. However, RPB is a separate organization and is ultimately responsible for the management and administration of its retirement, life and long-term disability programs.

As the conduit between RPB and your employees, you're a vital part of helping them get the most out of their RPB benefits—and have a good experience in the process. Our goal is to make this responsibility as easy for you as possible by helping you understand your role and giving you the support and tools you need.

Keeping your employees informed

Your employees can easily monitor their accounts, make investment changes and view their statements through the InfoExpress participant portal.

We provide regularly updated performance information and daily prices for our Tier 1 and Tier 2 funds.

We also offer a range of resources and events that are available to our participants and their families. Participants can review our upcoming events and webinars, along with the numerous financial education resources our Knowledge Center.

Our planning tools help your employees understand what needs to be done to plan for retirement. Our custom RPB Navigator also provides resources for every stage of life. We also offer a comprehensive Retirement Planning Seminar each year that can help participants understand what they need to consider as they're preparing for retirement.

When your employees are ready to retire, they can easily set up their distribution plan directly with RPB.
